Last Sunday a large group met in Golden Gate Park to race bikes and support a good friend. Soil Saloon keeps a low profile, but clearly has a huge following. Together organizers and friends hosted a benefit race to help Chuey. Enclosed are some moments from the event.

Best Dressed

This was DJ’s first CX race, and he got right into the swing of things.

You have to remember the racers have challenges at each checkpoint. Traditionally alcohol represents one of these tasks. By the 6th lap, things get pretty loose, including the soil.

Blake splitting shrubs.

Pamela was on hand to shoot 4X5 portraits of the racers. She also shot tons of digital images. Check her series HERE!
