Tour of California in the bag

Completed day 9 yesterday. Palomar was no joke. 5300 feet, and everyone was in good spirits. Was a serious effort, and the last 30 miles coming back felt like 100 miles. Rainier and walton never showed pain the entire trip, so by day nine, it was nice to see they too were human.

Rainier dropped a chain going maybe 35mph descending. He had record time from clipped to foot jam.

Thanks to the guys at montonovelo for sending some last minute rings and cogs for sundays climb. If we could have found something bigger then 22 in the back, these guys would have been fighting over it.

Walton with a dick move, but fuck it, He earned that shit.
