NAHBS TT RACE UPDATE Feb 21, 2012 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment 3_3_2012 As we draw closer to the team time trial race celebrating the 2012 NAHBS, we want to share some additional info to help you, and your team plan for the event. We will meet at the Pittsburg BART Station around 9:30am. We will have a van that can carry a bag for you, so you will have clothing/shoes etc when you get to the Convention Center. Please check the schedule, and get on a train that puts you at the cart with plenty of time to spare. The racers will leave the station lot at 10AM sharp. There is no entry fee to enter. You must be 18 years of age, or bring an adult to the start to sign a waiver. Your team will sign in at the start of the race. Teams of three will race from the train station, to the convention center as a group. The last racer from your group to cross the finish will set the time for your team. There may be 1 check point along the route. Be prepared, and look at the two options for routing this race’s main section. This is a fixed gear street race. Please feel free to come ride with the racers at your pace, on whatever bike you like, but if you want to race, please bring a bike with a fixed gear drivetrain. Prizes will be awarded at the show. If anyone has a connection to Don, or the show, can you send us a note. We would like to let him know we are coming. Free entry to the show for racers would be nice, but is not arranged at this time. Will update once we know more. There are train options to bring you back from Sacramento to the Bay Area. These arrangements need to be made by you. Amtrak is one option, or have a friend meet you at the show with a car. Saturday March Third, 9:30AM at the Pittsburg BART Station. Come out for this one!
