GOLD SPRINTS WEST LV

GOLD SPRINTS WEST LV

I’m gonna say it again. It was a bummer that the las vegas gold sprints were split into east and west. There was poor planning by the west coast organizers to set theirs up on top of the 3 year running NY sprints. The east coast flyer came out 2 weeks before the west coast flyer, and toes were stepped on. Next year we hope organizers are just that. We all want to have a good time, and ultimately don’t want to see riders get divided into cliques. We are all grateful for the series that sf has going on and look forward to some mega combined sprint series next year at interbike. Note beauty bar was a rad outdoor space. hint hint.

Let’s get down to business in flip flops.

In the end jim morrison from Cane Creek took home first place mens, beating garrett by .10 of a second. Good hustle jim!!

Garrett paced himself for the final heat which was doubled in distance, but timed his final sprint a 1/2 second too late. He did clock the fasted time of the night at 18.49. Congrats to all the racers, It was a blast, and was hoarse for 2 days from yelling!
