Pilarcitos #1 CandleStick Park 2011 Oct 24, 2011 Categories: MASH Frames 0 Comment Pilarcitos is back! Yesterday was the first race of four they will be hosting in the Bay Area this season. Our team met up early, and headed to CandleStick Park to compete in the heat. Fortunately for the Single Speed A’s, they raced at 9:40am, and avoided the hottest part of the day. Enclosed are some images Gabe shot out on this dry, dusty, bumped out course. Chas climbing out of the roped switch back section. Blake in the Men’s SS A’s Chas climbing the run-up Daniel is unstoppable. Race=Win. This is his 4th in a row. Clean finish in the Men’s SS A’s by D. Velasco. Chas right behind Daniel, with a strong 2nd place finish. 1 and 2 Paperwork: Strong race for Daniel, Chas, Blake, and Garrett. Looks like Daniel placed 1st, 14th, and 27th in the same race. That is not easy! Rainier won this SS series this year, so he is racing with the Elite Men A’s this season. He earned his call-up in the front row. Congrats to the entire field, with the top honor going to Neil Bezdek. We are so stoked to see Chas up there with this serious field. He has been constantly traveling, and racing this year.
